Description

Zinc salicylate is a multifunctional compound that combines the properties of zinc and salicylic acid, making it a valuable ingredient in skincare formulations. This salt form offers enhanced stability and solubility compared to its individual components. As a derivative of salicylic acid, zinc salicylate retains beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) properties, providing gentle exfoliation and pore-cleansing benefits. The zinc component contributes additional advantages, including anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating effects.

In skincare products, zinc salicylate is primarily used for its keratolytic, antimicrobial, and oil-controlling properties.
