Description

Tocotrienols are potent members of the vitamin E family, distinguished from tocopherols by their unsaturated side chains. These fat-soluble compounds occur naturally in select plant sources, including palm oil, rice bran, and annatto seeds. Tocotrienols exhibit superior antioxidant properties compared to their tocopherol counterparts, with α-tocotrienol demonstrating up to 60 times greater free radical scavenging ability than α-tocopherol.

In skincare formulations, tocotrienols offer multiple benefits. They effectively neutralize free radicals, protecting skin cells from oxidative stress and environmental damage.
