Description

TEA-Alginate is a versatile and widely used ingredient in skincare formulations, derived from a combination of triethanolamine (TEA) and alginic acid, which is extracted from brown seaweed. This water-soluble compound functions primarily as a thickening agent, emulsifier, and stabilizer in various cosmetic products.

The unique chemical structure of TEA-Alginate allows it to form stable gels and enhance the texture of creams, lotions, and serums. It effectively binds water molecules, contributing to improved moisture retention in the skin. This hydrating property makes it particularly beneficial for dry or dehydrated skin types.
