Description

Steareth-80 is a versatile synthetic emulsifier and surfactant widely used in cosmetic and personal care formulations. This non-ionic compound is derived from stearyl alcohol and ethylene oxide, with an average of 80 moles of ethylene oxide per molecule. Its chemical structure allows it to function as an effective bridge between oil and water phases in various products.

In skincare formulations, Steareth-80 acts as a stabilizer, helping to create smooth, consistent emulsions. It enhances the texture and feel of creams, lotions, and other topical preparations, contributing to a luxurious skin feel without excessive greasiness.
