Description

6-Isobutylquinoline is a synthetic compound used in advanced haircare formulations, particularly in products designed to combat hair loss and promote growth. This aromatic heterocyclic molecule belongs to the quinoline family and is known for its potent effects on hair follicle stimulation.

The compound works by inhibiting 5α-reductase, an enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone linked to hair loss. By reducing DHT levels in the scalp, 6-isobutylquinoline helps create an environment conducive to hair growth and retention.
