YOGURT POWDER

Description

Yogurt powder is a versatile and nutrient-rich ingredient derived from dehydrated yogurt. This concentrated form of yogurt retains many of the beneficial properties of its liquid counterpart, making it an excellent addition to skincare formulations. Rich in lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), yogurt powder offers gentle exfoliation, promoting cell turnover and improving skin texture.

The ingredient contains probiotics, which help maintain a healthy skin microbiome and strengthen the skin barrier. These beneficial bacteria can aid in reducing inflammation and combating acne-causing bacteria. Yogurt powder is also a source of proteins, vitamins (particularly B vitamins), and minerals that nourish and hydrate the skin.

Its slight acidity helps balance the skin's pH, potentially improving overall skin health. The zinc content in yogurt powder may assist in regulating sebum production, making it beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin types. Additionally, the calcium present supports skin cell renewal and moisture retention.

When incorporated into skincare products, yogurt powder can provide moisturizing, soothing, and brightening effects, making it suitable for various skin concerns and types.
