WHOLE DRY GOAT MILK

Description

Whole dry goat milk is a versatile and nutrient-rich ingredient in skincare formulations. Derived from the dehydration of fresh goat's milk, this powder form retains many of the beneficial components found in its liquid counterpart. Rich in lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), whole dry goat milk provides gentle exfoliation, promoting cell turnover and improving skin texture.

The ingredient contains high levels of vitamins A, B6, B12, and E, which offer antioxidant protection and support skin regeneration. Its protein content, including casein and whey, helps maintain skin elasticity and hydration. Caprylic acid, a medium-chain fatty acid present in goat milk, exhibits antimicrobial properties that may benefit acne-prone skin.

Whole dry goat milk is particularly notable for its fat globules, which are smaller than those found in cow's milk. This characteristic allows for easier absorption into the skin, potentially enhancing moisturization and nutrient delivery. The natural pH of goat milk closely mimics that of human skin, making it less likely to disrupt the skin's acid mantle.

In formulations, whole dry goat milk can be incorporated into cleansers, masks, lotions, and bath products, offering a natural and nourishing option for various skin types.
