Description

Tricaprin is a medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) derived from capric acid, a saturated fatty acid naturally found in coconut and palm kernel oils. This versatile ingredient serves multiple functions in skincare formulations, primarily as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent. Tricaprin's molecular structure allows it to penetrate the skin effectively, providing hydration without leaving a greasy residue.
