Description

Tosylamide is a synthetic organic compound widely used in the cosmetic and personal care industry, particularly in nail care products. This versatile ingredient functions primarily as a film-forming agent, providing durability and gloss to nail polishes and other cosmetic formulations. Chemically, tosylamide is derived from toluene and sulfonamide, resulting in a crystalline solid with excellent solvent properties.

In nail polish formulations, tosylamide enhances adhesion, improves flexibility, and prevents chipping, leading to longer-lasting manicures. It also contributes to the quick-drying properties of nail products, allowing for faster application and reduced smudging.
