Description

Timosaponin A3 is a bioactive compound derived from the rhizome of Anemarrhena asphodeloides, a plant traditionally used in Chinese medicine. This steroidal saponin has gained attention in the skincare industry for its potential anti-aging and skin-protective properties.

Research suggests that Timosaponin A3 exhibits potent antioxidant activity, helping to neutralize free radicals and reduce oxidative stress in the skin. It has been shown to inhibit the formation of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs), which contribute to skin aging and collagen degradation.
