Description

Tea-lactate, also known as triethanolamine lactate, is a multifunctional ingredient commonly used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This compound is formed by combining triethanolamine with lactic acid, resulting in a salt that offers both buffering and moisturizing properties. Tea-lactate primarily functions as a pH adjuster, helping to maintain the optimal acidity level of skincare products, which is crucial for product stability and skin compatibility.

In addition to its pH-regulating capabilities, tea-lactate exhibits humectant properties, attracting and retaining moisture in the skin.
