TALLOW GLYCERIDE

Description

Tallow glyceride is a multifunctional ingredient derived from animal fat, primarily beef or mutton tallow. This compound is formed through the esterification of glycerol with fatty acids found in tallow. Its unique composition mimics the natural lipids present in human skin, making it an excellent emollient and skin conditioning agent.

In skincare formulations, tallow glyceride serves multiple purposes. It acts as an effective occlusive, forming a protective barrier on the skin's surface to prevent moisture loss.
