Description

T-Butyl p-Cresol, also known as Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT), is a potent antioxidant widely used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This synthetic compound effectively neutralizes free radicals, protecting products from oxidation and extending their shelf life. In skincare, T-Butyl p-Cresol helps preserve the efficacy of active ingredients, particularly those prone to degradation when exposed to air or light.

Typically used in concentrations ranging from 0.01% to 0.1%, T-Butyl p-Cresol demonstrates excellent stability across a wide pH range. Its oil-soluble nature makes it particularly suitable for emulsion-based formulations and anhydrous products.
