SUCROSE LAURATE

Description

Sucrose Laurate is a versatile and gentle emulsifier derived from natural sources, specifically sugar (sucrose) and lauric acid, which is commonly found in coconut oil. This non-ionic surfactant is widely used in skincare and cosmetic formulations due to its excellent compatibility with various ingredients and its ability to create stable emulsions.

With an HLB (Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance) value ranging from 15 to 16, Sucrose Laurate effectively combines oil and water-based components, making it ideal for creating both oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions. Its mild nature makes it suitable for sensitive skin formulations, as it does not typically cause irritation or disrupt the skin's natural barrier.
