Description

Silicone Quaternium-19 is a multifunctional silicone-based ingredient widely used in haircare formulations. This quaternary ammonium compound combines the beneficial properties of silicones with the conditioning effects of traditional quaternary agents. Its unique structure allows it to provide excellent hair conditioning, detangling, and smoothing properties while maintaining a lightweight feel.

The ingredient forms a thin, hydrophobic film on the hair shaft, reducing friction between strands and improving combability. This film also helps to seal the cuticle, reducing frizz and enhancing shine.
