DESCRIPTION
What It Does: Provides stable vitamin a skin renewal with improved oxidative stability from soy fatty acid esterification.
Why It's Used: Used as a stabilized retinol ester with soybean oil fatty acid groups providing added skin-compatibility.
How It Works: Retinyl soyate = retinol esterified with soybean oil fatty acids (linoleic/oleic dominant); the polyunsaturated soy fatty acid ester groups may paradoxically provide some oxidative protection via their tocopherol-like activity.
