Description

Quaternium-60 is a cationic conditioning agent widely used in the cosmetic and personal care industry. This quaternary ammonium compound is primarily employed in hair care products, particularly conditioners and leave-in treatments, due to its excellent ability to improve hair manageability and texture.

The ingredient functions by depositing a thin, positively charged film on the hair shaft, which helps to reduce static electricity, enhance shine, and facilitate detangling. Quaternium-60 is especially effective on damaged or chemically treated hair, as it can temporarily seal the cuticle and provide a protective barrier against environmental stressors.
