Description

Quaternium-56 is a quaternary ammonium compound widely utilized in personal care and cosmetic formulations. This cationic surfactant serves multiple functions, primarily as a conditioning agent and antistatic additive in hair and skin care products. Its chemical structure consists of a positively charged nitrogen atom bonded to four alkyl groups, giving it unique properties that make it valuable in various applications.

In hair care formulations, Quaternium-56 acts as an effective detangling agent, reducing friction between hair strands and improving combability.
