Description

Propyl Steardimonium Chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound widely used in haircare products, particularly in conditioners and leave-in treatments. This cationic surfactant is derived from stearic acid and exhibits excellent conditioning properties. Its positively charged molecules effectively bind to the negatively charged surface of hair, providing a smooth, detangled feel.

The ingredient functions as an anti-static agent, reducing flyaways and improving manageability.
