Description

PPG-9, or Polypropylene Glycol-9, is a versatile synthetic polymer used in various skincare and personal care formulations. This ingredient functions primarily as a skin conditioning agent and emollient, helping to improve the texture and feel of products while providing moisturizing benefits to the skin.

As a humectant, PPG-9 attracts and retains moisture, helping to keep the skin hydrated and supple. Its molecular structure allows it to form a thin, non-occlusive film on the skin's surface, which helps to reduce transepidermal water loss without completely blocking the skin's ability to breathe.
