Description

Potassium EDTMP, or Potassium Ethylenediamine Tetra(methylene phosphonic acid), is a powerful chelating agent widely used in skincare formulations. This synthetic compound belongs to the phosphonate family and is known for its ability to bind metal ions, particularly calcium and magnesium. In skincare products, Potassium EDTMP serves multiple functions, primarily as a stabilizer and preservative enhancer.
