Description

Polyquaternium-9 is a synthetic, cationic polymer widely utilized in skincare and haircare formulations for its exceptional conditioning and film-forming properties. This water-soluble compound belongs to the polyquaternium family, a group of positively charged polymers designed to interact with negatively charged surfaces like hair and skin.

In skincare applications, Polyquaternium-9 functions as a humectant and emollient, helping to attract and retain moisture in the skin.
