Description

Polylysine HBr, or poly-L-lysine hydrobromide, is a synthetic cationic polypeptide with remarkable antimicrobial properties, making it a valuable ingredient in skincare formulations. This water-soluble compound consists of repeating units of the amino acid lysine, linked by peptide bonds. Its positively charged nature allows it to interact with negatively charged microbial cell membranes, disrupting their integrity and inhibiting microbial growth.
