Description

Polyester-15 is a synthetic polymer used in cosmetic and skincare formulations, primarily as a film-forming agent and viscosity controller. This versatile ingredient is composed of polymerized units of adipic acid and neopentyl glycol, creating a water-insoluble, non-volatile compound. Polyester-15 functions by forming a protective barrier on the skin or hair, enhancing the longevity and efficacy of various cosmetic products.
