Description

Polyester-1 is a synthetic polymer widely used in cosmetic and personal care formulations as a film-forming agent and hair fixative. This ingredient belongs to the family of polyesters, which are condensation polymers formed by the reaction of polyhydric alcohols with polybasic acids. Polyester-1 is particularly valued for its ability to create a flexible, water-resistant film on the skin and hair.
