POLYDEXTROSE

Description

Polydextrose is a versatile, low-calorie carbohydrate widely used in the food industry and increasingly finding applications in skincare formulations. This synthetic polymer is produced through the random polymerization of glucose, with small amounts of sorbitol and citric acid. In skincare, polydextrose functions as a humectant and moisturizing agent, helping to attract and retain water in the skin.
