Description

Poloxamer 217 is a versatile synthetic copolymer widely used in skincare and personal care formulations. This non-ionic surfactant belongs to the family of poloxamers, also known as Pluronics. Its structure consists of a central hydrophobic block of polypropylene oxide flanked by two hydrophilic blocks of polyethylene oxide.

In skincare applications, Poloxamer 217 functions as an emulsifier, solubilizer, and stabilizer.
