PINUS SYLVESTRIS OIL, also known as Scots Pine Oil, is an essential oil derived from the needles and twigs of the Pinus sylvestris tree. This pale yellow to colorless liquid possesses a fresh, woody, and slightly balsamic aroma. Rich in monoterpenes, particularly α-pinene and β-pinene, this oil exhibits potent antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it valuable in skincare formulations.

The oil's composition includes limonene, which contributes to its antioxidant effects, helping to neutralize free radicals and potentially reduce signs of aging. Its astringent properties can help tighten pores and regulate sebum production, benefiting oily and acne-prone skin.
