Description

Pigment Blue 27, also known as Prussian Blue or Ferric Ferrocyanide, is a synthetic inorganic pigment widely used in cosmetic and skincare formulations. This deep blue colorant is prized for its intense hue and excellent stability across a wide pH range. Its chemical composition consists of iron(III) hexacyanoferrate(II), giving it unique optical properties.

In skincare applications, Pigment Blue 27 serves primarily as a color additive, imparting a rich blue shade to various products such as eye shadows, eyeliners, and other decorative cosmetics. Its fine particle size allows for smooth application and even color distribution.
