Description

PEI-1000, or Polyethylenimine-1000, is a versatile synthetic polymer with significant applications in haircare formulations. This high molecular weight compound is characterized by its cationic nature, which enables it to form strong electrostatic bonds with negatively charged hair surfaces. PEI-1000 acts as an effective conditioning agent, enhancing hair manageability, reducing static electricity, and improving overall texture.

In haircare products, PEI-1000 functions as a film-forming agent, creating a protective layer on the hair shaft that helps to seal the cuticle and lock in moisture.
