Description

OLETH-23 is a synthetic ethoxylated fatty alcohol derived from oleyl alcohol. It functions primarily as an emulsifier and surfactant in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This ingredient helps to stabilize oil-in-water emulsions, allowing for the creation of creams and lotions with a smooth, uniform texture.

OLETH-23 has a high HLB (Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance) value, making it particularly effective at dispersing oils and other lipophilic substances in aqueous solutions. This property enables it to enhance the solubility of various active ingredients, potentially improving their efficacy in skincare products.
