Description

Oleth-12 is a versatile synthetic emulsifier and surfactant widely used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This polyethylene glycol ether of oleyl alcohol is derived from ethoxylated oleyl alcohol, resulting in a compound with both hydrophilic and lipophilic properties. Oleth-12's dual nature allows it to effectively bridge the gap between oil and water-based ingredients, promoting stable emulsions and enhancing product texture.

In skincare formulations, Oleth-12 functions as an emollient and solubilizer, helping to create smooth, easily spreadable products. It aids in the even distribution of active ingredients throughout the formulation, potentially improving their efficacy.
