What It Does: Provides myricetin's exceptional antioxidant activity (pyrogallol b-ring radical scavenging) and anti-inflammatory nf-kb/5-lox inhibition in an improved sc-penetrating ester form โ reaching the dermis where free myricetin's water solubility limits delivery.
Why It's Used: Myricetin sesqui-esterification provides the penetration-stability balance for delivery of the most potent polyphenol antioxidant โ free myricetin's labile gallol groups oxidise rapidly; partial esterification provides protection while maintaining antioxidant activity.
