MIPA-MYRISTATE

Description

MIPA-Myristate, also known as Isopropanolamide Myristate, is a multifunctional ingredient commonly used in skincare and personal care formulations. This compound is derived from the reaction between myristic acid and isopropanolamine, resulting in an emollient with excellent skin-conditioning properties.

As a mild, non-ionic surfactant, MIPA-Myristate helps to stabilize emulsions and improve the texture of various skincare products. It acts as an effective emulsifier, promoting the blending of oil and water-based components in creams, lotions, and cleansers. The ingredient's ability to reduce surface tension allows for better spreadability and absorption of active ingredients into the skin.

MIPA-Myristate also functions as a lubricant, providing a smooth, silky feel to the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Its moisturizing properties help to soften and hydrate the skin, making it particularly beneficial in formulations designed for dry or sensitive skin types. Additionally, this ingredient can enhance the foaming capabilities of cleansing products, contributing to a luxurious lather and improved cleansing efficacy.
