Description

Methylsilanol Glycyrrhizinate is a specialized skincare ingredient derived from licorice root extract and silicon. This compound combines the anti-inflammatory properties of glycyrrhizic acid with the skin-penetrating capabilities of methylsilanol. Its primary function is to soothe and calm irritated skin while providing hydration and potential antioxidant benefits.

The ingredient works by inhibiting the enzyme 11-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, which helps reduce skin inflammation and redness.
