Methylbutenes are a group of hydrocarbon compounds consisting of various isomers, including 2-methyl-1-butene and 2-methyl-2-butene. These volatile, colorless liquids have gained traction in the haircare industry due to their unique properties. Primarily used as propellants in aerosol formulations, methylbutenes offer excellent solubility and compatibility with a wide range of hair care ingredients.
