Description

Methoxyisopropanol, also known as 1-Methoxy-2-propanol or PGME, is a versatile solvent commonly used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This clear, colorless liquid is prized for its excellent solvency properties and low toxicity profile. In skincare products, methoxyisopropanol primarily functions as a solvent and coupling agent, helping to dissolve and blend various ingredients that might otherwise be incompatible.

Its moderate evaporation rate makes it ideal for products that require a balance between quick drying and extended working time. Methoxyisopropanol enhances the spreadability of formulations, contributing to a smooth, even application.
