MAMMARY EXTRACT

Description

Mammary extract, derived from bovine mammary tissue, is a novel ingredient in advanced skincare formulations. This bioactive compound contains a complex array of growth factors, hormones, and proteins naturally present in mammary glands. The extract is rich in lactoferrin, a multifunctional protein with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as prolactin, which may stimulate cell proliferation and tissue repair.

Research suggests that mammary extract can enhance skin hydration, promote collagen synthesis, and improve overall skin elasticity. Its unique composition of bioactive molecules may contribute to accelerated wound healing and skin regeneration. The extract's growth factors, such as epidermal growth factor (EGF) and insulin-like growth factor (IGF), are believed to stimulate cellular renewal and combat signs of aging.

When incorporated into skincare products, mammary extract is typically used in low concentrations due to its potency. It is often combined with other active ingredients to create comprehensive anti-aging formulations. While promising, further clinical studies are needed to fully elucidate the long-term effects and optimal usage of mammary extract in skincare applications. As with any novel ingredient, patch testing is recommended before widespread use.
