Description

Laurtrimonium Bromide is a quaternary ammonium compound widely used in haircare formulations. This cationic surfactant serves as an effective conditioning agent, providing smoothness and manageability to hair strands. Its molecular structure consists of a long alkyl chain attached to a positively charged nitrogen atom, allowing it to adhere to negatively charged hair surfaces.

In haircare products, Laurtrimonium Bromide primarily functions as an antistatic agent, reducing flyaways and frizz. It also acts as a detangling agent, facilitating easier combing and styling of both wet and dry hair. The ingredient's ability to form a thin, protective film on hair shafts helps to lock in moisture and enhance shine.

Laurtrimonium Bromide is compatible with various hair types and can be found in shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, and styling products.
