Description

Laureth-13 is a versatile synthetic emulsifier and surfactant commonly used in skincare and haircare formulations. This ethoxylated lauryl alcohol derivative is prized for its ability to stabilize emulsions, enhance product texture, and improve the solubility of other ingredients. With a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value of approximately 14, Laureth-13 effectively bridges the gap between oil and water-based components in cosmetic formulations.

In skincare products, Laureth-13 acts as a gentle cleansing agent and helps create smooth, easily spreadable textures.
