Isolongifolanone is a synthetic fragrance ingredient derived from natural longifolene, a sesquiterpene found in pine oil. This compound belongs to the family of ketones and is known for its woody, earthy aroma with subtle floral undertones. In haircare formulations, isolongifolanone serves multiple purposes beyond its olfactory properties.
