Illite

Description

Illite is a naturally occurring clay mineral belonging to the phyllosilicate group, commonly found in sedimentary rocks and soils. This fine-grained material is composed primarily of potassium, aluminum, and silica, with a layered structure that gives it unique properties beneficial for skincare applications. Illite's particle size typically ranges from 1 to 4 micrometers, allowing for efficient absorption of excess sebum and impurities from the skin.
