DESCRIPTION
What It Does: Provides controlled enzymatic brightening through hrp-catalysed dopa quinone melanin precursor oxidation, mild collagen and elastin crosslinking for anti-wrinkle firming, and antimicrobial activity from the peroxidase-generated reactive oxygen species.
Why It's Used: Hrp provides the most controllable enzymatic oxidation for skin brightening — the enzyme's precise kinetics ensure h₂o₂ consumption prevents oxidative damage while the controlled peroxidation modifies melanin precursors more selectively than direct peroxide application.
