FLURIDIL
Description
Fluridil is an innovative topical anti-androgen compound specifically developed for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia, commonly known as male and female pattern hair loss. This synthetic, non-steroidal molecule functions by competitively binding to androgen receptors in hair follicles, effectively blocking dihydrotestosterone (DHT) from attaching and causing follicular miniaturization.
Unlike systemic anti-androgens, Fluridil's unique molecular structure allows it to penetrate the scalp and hair follicles while minimizing systemic absorption. This localized action reduces the risk of systemic side effects often associated with oral anti-androgen treatments. Fluridil has demonstrated efficacy in both stabilizing hair loss and promoting regrowth in clinical studies.
The compound is typically formulated in alcohol-based solutions for optimal scalp penetration and is generally well-tolerated by users. Regular application, usually once daily, is recommended for sustained results. While Fluridil shows promise in managing androgenetic alopecia, it is most effective when used in conjunction with other proven hair loss treatments, such as minoxidil or low-level laser therapy, as part of a comprehensive hair restoration regimen.
