Description

Farnesol is a naturally occurring sesquiterpene alcohol found in various essential oils, including citronella, neroli, and rose. This colorless, oily liquid possesses a delicate, floral scent and exhibits multifaceted properties beneficial for skincare formulations. As an antimicrobial agent, farnesol effectively combats acne-causing bacteria, making it valuable in products targeting blemish-prone skin. Its deodorizing capabilities also make it useful in antiperspirants and foot care products.
