Ethoxy-p-cresol, also known as 4-ethoxy-m-cresol, is a synthetic antioxidant and preservative used in both skincare and haircare formulations. This colorless to pale yellow liquid compound is derived from p-cresol and ethanol, offering multifaceted benefits in cosmetic applications.

In skincare, ethoxy-p-cresol serves as an effective antioxidant, helping to neutralize free radicals and protect the skin from oxidative stress.
