Description

Dimethyl phenylethyl carbinyl acetate, also known as DMPCA or Rosatol, is a synthetic fragrance ingredient commonly used in skincare and personal care products. This colorless to pale yellow liquid possesses a distinctive floral scent reminiscent of rose petals, making it a popular choice for adding pleasant aromas to various formulations.

DMPCA is prized for its ability to impart a natural rose fragrance without the high cost and variability associated with natural rose extracts. It exhibits good stability in various cosmetic bases and has a low potential for skin irritation when used at appropriate concentrations. Typically, it is incorporated at levels between 0.1% to 1% in final formulations.
