Description

Cyclotrisiloxane, also known as D3 or cyclic silicone, is a volatile silicone compound widely used in skincare and haircare formulations. This clear, colorless liquid is characterized by its low molecular weight and cyclic structure, consisting of three silicon-oxygen units. Cyclotrisiloxane's primary function is as a carrier and spreading agent, enhancing the application and feel of products.

In skincare, cyclotrisiloxane provides a silky, smooth texture and helps other ingredients penetrate the skin more effectively.
