Description

Colophonium, also known as rosin or pine resin, is a natural substance derived from the sap of pine trees. This amber-colored, solid material has been used for centuries in various industries, including cosmetics and skincare. Colophonium is primarily composed of resin acids, with abietic acid being the main component.

In skincare formulations, colophonium functions as a film-forming agent and adhesive.
