Description

Cocoalkonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound derived from coconut oil, widely used in personal care and cosmetic products. This cationic surfactant serves multiple functions in skincare and haircare formulations, primarily as an antistatic agent, emulsifier, and preservative.

The ingredient's molecular structure consists of a positively charged nitrogen atom bonded to alkyl groups, providing its characteristic properties.
